His Stolen Secret by Terri Anne Browning

A good book is one that inspires strong emotions in the reader.  Despite this being novella length, I went through so many emotions.  Anger, outrage, sadness, mistrust.  I laughed out loud, and even shed a few tears.  The strength in the heroine is something that is rarely found, something that inspires the reader, and marks a character that becomes a favorite.  The things that Triss had to live through, and the fact that she came out a better, stronger person makes her one of my all time favorite characters.  Dom, on the other hand, initially makes me want to tell him to take a hike.  His lack of trust, made me angry.  I’m glad he was able to make things better but Triss was much more forgiving than I would be!
