Road to Grace (Dogs of Fire Book 7) by Piper Davenport
Grace Lundy’s life has been tainted with horror and tragedy. She’s spent the past ten years building a fortress around her heart to avoid more pain. In the process, she’s managed to push away those closest to her, but the time has come for them to push back.
Billy “Flea” Jameson lives his life as a faithful soldier in the Dogs of Fire MC, free of commitment and drama… until Grace comes home from college. The sexy as sin woman who walks into the clubhouse isn’t the young girl who left for school, and her appearance promises an end to his commitment-free life.
But trouble brews when an innocent man is sent to prison and a rival club vies for territory.
As Flea works with his brothers to protect the club, can he keep Grace from being caught in the crossfire?

We met Grace in Hatch and Maisie’s story, Road to Peace. Grace is best friends with Maisie’s daughter Poppy. Following a pretty traumatic event in her early teens, she went off to college with Poppy. Coming back home, she isn’t sure what she wants to do with her life, except dancing has to be part of it. When someone from her past comes back around, she isn’t sure what to do with the feelings he brings out in her, because she isn’t sure what to do about them.
Flea is a biker, one who remembers Grace and the events of her trauma, but she’s been away at school for a long time. When he sees her again, she knocks him off his feet! He isn’t sure what to do about it at first, but it doesn’t take him long to sort out how he’s feeling and what he wants!
I love how amazing Flea is with Grace. Their relationship is just absolutely perfect, and he is so understanding of her issues. He takes them, and knocks them down, one by one. Totally swoon-worthy!
This book, like all of the Dogs of Fire books, is packed full of all of the good stuff! Lots of action, excitement, romance, and hot bikers, combine with a strong sense of loyalty and family to make a book that I read in one sitting! After beginning, I just couldn’t put it down, and before I knew it, I was at the end, with a big smile on my face! This MC series is not only on my one-click list, but also my re-read list. Definitely one of my go-to series when I start recommending MC series to friends!
