Liam (Devils Souls MC #4) by LeAnn Ashers
I met Liam when I was sixteen years old. There was something about him that tempted me to break all the rules. I was enthralled by his bad boy ways, but I knew there was so much more to him—a side of Liam that he didn’t allow people to see.
Little did I know, he’d save me on what could’ve been the worst day of my life. At that point, there was no going back. He was my everything. I felt safe in his arms.
Until someone tried to kill me.
I was only seventeen years old when I met Paisley, and I haven’t been able to keep my eyes off her ever since.
She was everything I wasn’t, but that didn’t stop me from wanting her, from making her mine. I’d love and protect her with my life.
The cartel started gunning for her, and that was the worst decision they could have made. They’ll never know what hit them…
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Finally! Liam and Paisley find their HEA! We first heard about Liam and Paisley in Torch and Kayla’s story. Paisley is Torch’s daughter, who he raised on his own, beginning when he was just a teenager. We learned that Liam saved Paisley from a potentially life altering, tragic event when she was a teenager, and that brought him into the MC. We also found out that he was a way in the military during that story’s timeline.
Well, now Liam is home, and he is determined to make her his in truth. Even though they have known since before Liam left for his time in the service, that they would be together, Paisley has to put up a little bit of a fight, even if she really doesn’t want to! Like all of the men of the Devil Souls MC, he knows what he wants, and will do whatever it takes to get it!
There is a lot going on in this story. I’m happy that they are finally together, but there is so much working against them! Liam is stubborn though, and will let nothing stand in his way. Paisley is so much like her step mom, Kayla, in temperament, that its hilarious! She is seriously one tough chick! (a real case for nurture vs nature, right?!?) These two are destined for each other. I loved spending time with the characters from previous books, and I love getting glimpses of the kids growing up! I’ve loved both of the series, Devil Souls MC, as well as the Grim Sinners MC, and I love how they interact in each book. I’m totally looking forward to upcoming books, and can’t wait to find out who will find their HEA next!
