Montana Wild (Small Town Romance Book 4) by Vanessa Vale

Violet Miller is a teacher savoring her summer break until she’s been called in as emergency reinforcements—of the dating kind. She volunteers to help an old flame by pretending to be his girlfriend. In Alaska. At a family reunion. Since the guy is a handsome, lumberjack-sized doctor she’s never quite forgotten, faking a relationship won’t be hard work—while wishing for more.

Mike Ostranski is a desperate man on vacation. His mother wants grandchildren and sees a crazy Alaskan woman as a candidate for daughter-in-law. Mike needs Violet by his side to deflect the lady’s advances.

A week in Alaska as boyfriend and girlfriend should be easy for them. They grew up together, even had a brief fling. What could possibly go wrong?

My Review:

Montana Wild (Small Town Romance Book 4)Montana Wild by Vanessa Vale

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

OMG! This book is a hilarious comedy of errors, from beginning to end. I am just in awe at how so many things can go wrong, and still be funny! Violet is the twin sister of Veronica, from book 2. Mike is their friend from high school, and Violet’s one time fling. Old feelings are ever present in this book, and things are complicated!

Mike is a podiatrist, with a crazy family, and some things haunting him from his past. His feelings for Violet, as well as his motivations for his life choices are complicated. When he is dragged to Alaska for a family reunion, his mom is determined to set him up, but the woman she has her eyes on for him is…..well, crazy! He calls for reinforcements, and Violet is on a plane! Violet is a school teacher, off for the summer, and has no idea what she is getting herself into. She also has a complicated past that is still haunting her.

This book was HOT! And Funny! And did I say Hot?!? I’ve enjoyed this quirky series, with its crazy scenarios, interesting characters, and scorching heat levels. This story amps it up a notch, takes it out of Montana, and still manages to have me rollin’ with laughter! Although there are some repeat characters, this book can definitely be read as a stand alone, but I’m betting you will want to go back and read the others!!!!!
