DISCLAIMER! If you’re unable to suspend disbelief and escape to the Rockstar Land of Fiction, then this book probably isn’t for you. As with all the Rockstar books, this book contains mature content and is inappropriate for persons under 18 years of age.

Falling Down – (Rockstar #1)
Jesse Kingston, lead singer for Falling Down, is a tall, dark, and gorgeous temptation I don’t want to resist.

I’m going to ignore all the warning signs and do what I normally wouldn’t-I’m going to indulge my fantasies and give this sexy rocker what he wants and something he won’t soon forget-me.

Will our time together end up changing this bad boy? Or will it end up changing me?

Blush (Rockstar #2)
*WARNING* This is NOT a dark romance. There will be MINIMAL angst or drama. There will be lots of laughs, frequent dropping of the F-bomb, and crazy monkey sex.

You know how people say they woke up in Vegas married and you’re like, how the hell could that possibly happen? Who does that? Well, us apparently… and the press is having a field day.

A Very Xander Christmas (Rockstar #3)
The first Rockstar Christmas. A short story-told Xander Style.

Amplify: (Rockstar #4) Warning: This story contains grief, loss, sadness, darkness, light, happiness, angst, swearing, explicit sex, graphic violence, new beginnings, and soulmates. I recommend listening to the playlist whenever possible to get the full effect of the story. You may need tissues.

He’s my protector, my confidante. Then one night he became more. I want him, I need him, and, if I’m honest with myself, I love him. I just don’t know if he’ll ever see me as more than what we’ve always been: friends. I don’t want to lose him but it’s getting harder and harder to keep my feelings to myself. Should I risk it all or play it safe?

She’s my light, my saving grace. The night we came together I knew I could never live without her. I want her to be mine: my lover, my friend. Maybe, if I can get her to see past all the reasons why we shouldn’t be together, she’ll be my forever. It just might be time to turn it up and go for broke.

My Review:

The Rockstar Series Part 1 (Rockstar Book #1-4)The Rockstar Series Part 1 by Anne Mercier

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I’ve read each book, individually, and this group of Rockers are addictive, hilarious, engaging, and you just can’t stop reading their books.  I’ve enjoyed each one, read each one more than a few times, and hope their stories continue to reach out to others as much as they did me!

Falling Down:
This is one of those books….you know the ones I’m talking about. The ones that you can read over and over and it never gets old. This book is so full of fun, and family, and laughs. It’s made up of someone attaining nearly impossible dreams. It’s got all of the elements of an epic love story, set in the world of Rockers. What more can you ask for?!?

This story starts with young Lucy. She is on her way to Hollywood, leaving home with her mother, sister, and brother. At the airport, she runs into her CRUSH! We all had them. A movie star, an athlete, a rock star. The one that we know we will never meet, but touches our heart in all the right places. But Lucy runs into him, and there is a spark of…something. Sadly, it’s not the right time, and they go their separate ways.

Years go by, and Lucy grows up. She makes it big in Hollywood, but it isn’t really what she wants. Everything changes when Lucy and her sister, Sera, get pulled in to do a Rock video. With her CRUSH! Jesse Kingston, and his band Falling Down. The spark is still there. And it catches fire! The heat between Jesse and Lucy is off the charts!

This book is at times sweet, and at other times crazy HOT! Jesse and Lucy are amazing together, and their friends and family are crazy funny! This book was fun to read, and I absolutely loved it to pieces! Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a funny read, a rocker read, or just an amazing love story!

Blush and Falling Down are on Tour!!!!! This book picks right up where the last one left off. After a drunken Vegas wedding, both bands are hitting the stage hard….and there are lots of surprises headed their way! These two groups are more family than band mates and this leads to some hilarious times on the tour bus.

Jesse, lead singer of Falling Down, has a history of being a…..well lets say he was a playboy and leave it at that. His fans are having a bit of trouble coming to terms with his marriage to Lucy, and Jesse is having a little trouble showing them where that line is that they aren’t supposed to cross. This leads to some drama, and some hard feelings. Lucy loves Jesse, and she knows that Jesse loves her too. She just isn’t sure that she is good enough for him. But Jesse knows that she is perfect for him, he just has to figure out how to prove it to her.

Jesse, Lucy and their two bands, along with a whole host of “family” run into groupies, crazy family, and more than a few surprises, good and bad, as they set out on the BFD tour. As I read about their antics, there were more than a few times I found myself laughing out loud, gasping in surprise, or crying a couple of tears. I love these guys, and can’t wait to find out what comes next!

A Very Xander Christmas:
Told by Xander, this is a novella that is not to be missed! His quirky sense of humor lends a bit of hilarity to the festivities that are Christmas Eve at Casa Falling Down. All of the family is gathered around, exchanging gifts (and insults!) and eating a feast. This book starts with a seriously HOT scene, and ends with a very Xander Christmas poem! This novella gives a bit of an inside look at who Xander is, and also introduces a bit of a mystery……

Oh boy! Here it is! I knew, reading through the first 3 books, there was something big going on with Sera, and that Cage was involved. But I had no clue how huge it was!

Sera is protective, and strong, and loves hard but she had a rough childhood. Her parents were killed by a rival Family, and she found their bodies. That’s traumatizing for anyone, and no doubt had a huge impact on her entire life from there on out. I can only imagine how hard it would be to not close out everyone, just to protect her heart. It would totally take an amazing man to break through that wall……

Cage is a mystery. He holds everything close to his chest: his past, his feelings, even parts of his present. But he is pulled to Sera, just as much as she can’t resist him. There is no doubt that they belong together. Miscommunication, lack of trust and an evil traitor work to keep them apart.

This book is as sad as it is exciting. There were tears shed at times, and quite a few places that had my heart beating fast. My emotions were all over the place, just the way I like it! IMHO, a book isn’t good if I don’t feel it! And I definitely felt this one! Sera’s emotions were so real, I could feel them. This was a book that the author must have put her heart and soul into, and that’s what separates a good book from an excellent one!
