Jake (Sinners and Saints Book 3) by Piper Davenport & Harley Stone

She walked into my precinct, a jail break on her mind.
With more money than Croesus, she was out of my league, but I didn’t care.
I knew I’d never let her out of my sight.
She would be mine and I’d move heaven and earth to make it happen.

*Previously titled, Dial A for Addison with bonus content*

My Review:

Jake (Sinners and Saints Book 3)Jake by Piper Davenport

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is one of those books. You know what I’m talking about, the kind that you enjoy the first time you read it, but each time you re-read it just gets better. I read this book when it was first published, as Dial A for Addison. I loved it then. But now, the authors have re-released it. I think I loved it even more this time! These girls are absolutely hilarious, and definitely keep their guys on their toes!

Addison is a down to earth girl, born into money. But that doesn’t seem to affect her personality. Even though she lives a good life, she still has problems. Her parents are at best uninterested. She hasn’t decided what she wants to do with her life, beyond helping her parents plan parties. On the up side, she has a brother she loves more than life, and a best friend that is more like a sister. Then things go crazy, and she finds herself a sexy detective!

There is a lot more to this book than just your typical romance. Addison and Dylan are looking for a murderer, trying to exonerate Dylan from the charges, and just generally getting into trouble. This is a fun, suspenseful story, with enough hot romance to keep it interesting. I’m looking forward to Dylan and Asher’s story!
