Weston is Olivia’s high school crush, and she’s spent sixteen years pining for a guy who she thought would never return her affections.

Olivia was the one girl who Weston tamped down his feelings for. He pushed her away, believing he wasn’t worthy of her attention.

When they meet again under harrowing circumstances, Weston saves her. The embers are stoked back to life. Their passion is ignited and the fire finally burns bright. But will it all go up in smoke? Because She just may need to rescue him right back.

My Review:

Rescue SheRescue She by Kara Liane

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is a totally new to me author, but one that I’m sure I’ll be following in the future. I’ve always enjoyed books about those in the emergency services finding their HEA. There is just something about the ones that give so much to their community finally finding love that makes me happy. This story is all of that, and so much more!

Olivia had a wonderful life, amazing parents, until her mother got sick and died when she was a teenager. She lost her way for a bit, until a new guy started at her school. He was a bit of a loner, and she tried to befriend him, only to get her heart crushed in the process. Life moves on, and years later, they are reunited. But the issues that kept them apart then, are still hanging around.

This book was absolutely amazing! Lots of chemistry, plenty of laughs, and more than a few tears combine to tell a story that I couldn’t help but love. Olivia and Wes were so perfect together, and I couldn’t help but cheer for them right from the beginning. This book is a definite must read for anyone that loves a steamy firefighter romance!
