This is a second chance romance that makes me want to believe in true love again! One of the sweetest I’ve read in a long time, it shows how it’s never too late to go back and make a different choice or right wrongs done.
Aubrey has achieved her dreams, becoming a famous movie director, but to do so, she had to leave behind her first love. This has haunted her for 10 years, until a near tragedy causes her to reevaluate her life choices. She decides to go on a trip, crossing off items on her bucket list, things she’s always wanted to do, but never had the time. She spends a lot of time on her trip thinking about the decisions she’s made in her life, and what she wishes she’d done differently.
Cole is a small town firefighter, who was left behind. He has his own regrets, and decisions he wishes he could change. Life rarely hands you second chances, and when it does, you better make sure you take advantage of it.
This book was a sweet story about regrets, forgiveness, and second chances at happiness. I loved the absolute perfectness of Aubrey and Cole’s connection, and how they just seemed to fit. It was a beautiful story, sure to lighten anyone’s day!
