Release Blitz for Falter by Carrie Aarons
Author: Carrie Aarons
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: July 25, 2019
𝐅𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫 (𝐍𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐫):
Ryan Shea has sworn off men.
After her last relationship imploded in front of her eyes, she decides to take a break from swimming in the dating pool … possibly forever. The brilliant computer whiz loses her brain when it comes to love, and jumping feet first burns her every time.
Without a home, or much of a clue where life is headed, taking a trip back to the small town of Fawn Hill to stay with her best friend seems like the only option.
Except it puts Ryan directly in the path of the one man she can’t fall for. Fletcher Nash reminds her too much of the dark past she’s always run from; his demons are the things of her nightmares. And it’s no help that, when he looks at her, she feels as if Fletcher is the one person who truly understands.
Fletcher Nash vowed not to fall in lust.
Five years of sobriety, and he hasn’t broken the chastity promise yet. Not that it had to keep for this long … he’s well over the normal year addicts are told not to get involved.
But, aside from a busy schedule and trying to chase his dream of becoming a full-time artist, he has no intentions of committing to a woman until she is the one.
Why is it, then, that sassy, city girl Ryan Shea comes dangerously close to resembling the exact woman he could break that promise for? Like sand through his fingers, there is no way she’ll stay put … but his heart just won’t listen.
They pledged not to love anyone until it was the real thing.
So what happens when two people terrified of falling head-over-heels, actually do?
Falter is available for a special release day price of $2.99! The book will increase to $3.99 the day after release.

I’ve adored all of the Nash Brothers books, but this was a hard book to read, and a harder review to write. Don’t get me wrong, this book was amazing. Well written, fabulous characters, wonderful story. I loved the book. But the emotions brought out were hard to deal with, and the things the characters had to deal with hurt my heart.
Fletcher Nash is a recovering addict. He has worked hard to pull himself out of the tailspin his life was in, and continues to do so every day. It’s not easy, but he’s determined to never put himself, or his family, through that again.
Ryan can’t win for losing. A product of a broken foster system, she has worked hard to become someone she can be proud of. But when it comes to men, she always chooses the wrong ones, the ones that can’t be depended upon, the ones that will break her heart. So, she’s decided to stay away from men for a while. But Fletcher is a temptation that she isn’t sure she can resist.
There is so much to say about this book. Fletcher has come so far since the beginning of the series, and Ryan has had a life of misery, and loneliness. They both deserve a HEA. They are both flawed, but working on improving those faults. The incredible level of emotion in this book is staggering. The descriptions of Fletcher’s fight with addiction, and daily struggles brought a lump to my throat. It really makes you think about how strong someone in that position has to be to continue to fight and win that struggle each day. This is definitely a book that tugs at heart strings and this was an outstanding ending to this series!
Author of romance novels such as The Tenth Girl and Privileged, Carrie Aarons writes books that are just as swoon-worthy as they are sarcastic. A former journalist, she prefers the love stories of her imagination, and the athleisure dress code, much better. When she isn’t writing, Carrie is busy binging reality TV, having a love/hate relationship with cardio, and trying not to burn dinner. She lives in the suburbs of New Jersey with her husband, daughter and Lab/Great Dane rescue.
