Sometimes the greatest love comes in the middle of your life.

Joe Rouger (Uncle Joe from the Until Series by Aurora Rose Reynolds) is ready for a woman who completes him. He finds what he’s looking for in a feisty Southern belle named Bernice Armstrong (Wallflower Series by CP Smith) The question is, can he leave his world behind for a chance at happiness?

And if he does, can he keep Bernice away from outside sources that threaten to steal what he’s waited for his whole life: a soul mate he can live and die for!

My Review:

Until Joe (Happily Ever Alpha World)Until Joe by C.P. Smith

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book was such a hoot! I can’t count the times I LOL’d until I had tears! I love the Maysen’s, but C.P. Smith is a new to me author. After reading Until Joe, I’m definitely going to have to go back and catch up. The Wallflowers sound like just my kinda girls!

Joe is a man that has lived a full life. A successful business owner, and loving father, he longs for someone to fill the emptiness in his heart. He wants the kind of love that his family members have found. And just when he spots her, she’s gone just as quickly.

Bernice is a southern belle in every sense of the word. Brought up by an old-fashioned father, who thinks that money fixes everything. She rebelled against the world she was brought up in and made her own way. A strong woman, she’s happy with her life, but she is also lonely for love.

I loved Joe and Bernice’s story! I enjoyed reading about a more “mature” couple, and loved that they were already sure of themselves and who they are. It gives the story a different feel, and it’s one that I’ve found I really like. Not to mention part of the story takes place in an area near and dear to my heart, the Outer Banks of NC! This was an amazing addition to the ARR Happily Ever Alpha World, and a fun introduction to C.P. Smith’s writing!
