The Hardest Shot (Indianapolis Eagles #7) by Samantha Lind

Hockey is my life.
My focus.
My priority.
I left Sweden for it five years ago.
I’ve finally been given a shot to prove myself, and I refuse to let anything jeopardize that.
No distractions ~ especially not Julia, the stunning woman I can’t seem to get out of my mind. Only problem is, she’s my coach’s daughter.

I grew up around hockey.
Lived and breathed it, thanks to my dad’s job.
I never thought I’d fall for a player.
Especially one my dad coaches.
But there’s just something about Beckett that draws me in.

Can I convince him he can be the hotshot goalie and find love, without having to choose just one?

The hardest shot to defend is the one you never take. I just hope he realizes he can have it all.

My Review:

The Hardest Shot (Indianapolis Eagles, #7)The Hardest Shot by Samantha Lind

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I could not help but be totally enchanted with Beckett and Julia! This was a totally sweet story that captured my heart! I absolutely loved this book. The characters were engaging, and funny, and their story was HOT!

Julia is a physical therapist, who’s dad just happens to be a coach for a hockey team. She is a strong, independent woman, who knows who she is and what she wants! She has set her sights on Beckett, and is just biding her time until she wears him down! Beckett has devoted his life to his hockey career. He has made sacrifices to get where he is, to build his career, and nothing will get in his way! But Julia is a temptation he wasn’t counting on, and one he isn’t sure he can (or wants) to avoid!

I absolutely loved Beckett and Julia! They were absolutely perfect together, and their connection was strong and true, right from the beginning. I loved how they just seemed to fit together, despite the challenges they faced. This story is a change of pace, from many that are out there today, and was really refreshing, in that way. I’ve enjoyed all of the books in this series, but this one just might be my favorite!
