Trying to Score (Hot Jocks #3) by Kendall Ryan

Blurb:

Teddy King excels at many things. Playing hockey. Check. Scoring on and off the ice. Check. Being stupidly attractive … Double check.

I knew him way back when. Before he was the guy everyone wanted a piece of, he was just a rebellious college co-ed and one of my more energetic study partners.

But secrets have a way of getting out, and a steamy encounter from our college days (that we probably shouldn’t have filmed) is about to cause a major scandal. Unless we can work together to stop it.

Teddy’s no stranger to hard work … but the thing he wants most?

Is me.

My Review:

Trying to Score (Hot Jocks, #3)Trying to Score by Kendall Ryan

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book has so much going for it, I couldn’t help but love it! Second chance romance? Check. Friends to lovers? Check. Pretend boyfriend? Check! Teddy and Sara were such a cute couple, they just fit. Absolutely, a must read!

Teddy and Sara are friends. And have been, since college. There was a chance for more, but life got in the way. Now there chance for more in the past, is coming back and affecting their present. And they have to work together to make it all work out, so they don’t loose what they’ve been working so hard to build.

I absolutely loved Teddy and Sara! Their connection wasn’t just the combustible heat that was between them (and it was HOT!), but there was years of friendship that gave them a solid foundation. There was a level of comfort between them that a lot of couples in books just don’t have. There is definitely something to be said about a slow burn romance!
