My Review:

Betting on Stocks (Dead Presidents MC Book 7)Betting on Stocks by Harley Stone

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is one of those books. You know the ones I’m talking about. The ones that deserve more than 5 stars. This isn’t just a romance novel. This is a book about empowerment. And overcoming obstacles thrown in your way. It’s about being the best you can be, even when you don’t know how you are going to get out of bed. Needless to say, this book really struck a chord with me.

Monica is a strong woman. She knows what she wants in life, and is determined to get it. She is a queen and life is her kingdom. But when a tragedy throws her down, it takes a special friend and a special guy to lift her up and show her that she can still be that queen, that she still has what it takes to rule her kingdom.

Stocks was a Marine. Until a mission went wrong, and he came home missing part of himself. It took time, and hard work, but he is finally beginning to find out who he is. He’s finally beginning to put his life back together. When Monica loses her way, he sees a bit of his struggle in what she is facing, and is determined not to let her give up.

This is an absolutely amazing book. Monica and Stocks both have faced tragedy, have both had to pull themselves back onto the road that leads to the rest of their lives. This book is about family, friendship, support, and love. I just can’t say how much I adored this book!
