Unexpected Bond (Unexpected Arrivals #4) by Kaylee Ryan

Just when you think you’ve got it all figured out, the universe decides to tilt your world on its axis.

I had a plan, and I was moving forward until the day my world was flipped upside down.

It’s a challenge I wasn’t prepared for, but one I had to face.

How do you combine the life you thought you had to the one you’re living?

One breath.
One second.
One minute.
One hour.
One day at a time, you learn to live with your unexpected bond.

My Review:

Unexpected Bond (Unexpected Arrivals #4)Unexpected Bond by Kaylee Ryan

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is probably one of the most difficult reviews I’ve had to write. Not because the books wasn’t good, or well written. This book was amazing. An amazing, emotional, rip your heart out story, that left me happy with the HEA, but there is also a gaping hole in my heart. This book absolutely destroyed me! KR really dug deep with this one! I had to read the book twice, because the first time, I was crying my eyes out. I read it again to be sure I didn’t miss anything (and because it was just THAT amazing!)

Seth has an amazing life. Wonderful parents, a job he loves, and the best friends anyone could ask for. But something is missing. As his friends begin to fall in love, and build their lives, he realizes that it’s something he wants. He wants that special someone that will complete his life. And when he least expects it, he catches a glimpse of the one that makes his heart beat faster, makes him sure of what he wants, who he wants.

Mara was alone for most of her life. A product of the foster care system, she has had very few people stick around to be part of her life. Her best friend. Her young daughter. They are her family. Her life. But Seth give her a glimpse of what could be. What should be. If only she could let down her walls, let him into her life, into her heart.

This book…..I don’t want to give anything away, but this book absolutely is at the top of my favorite books. The entire series is amazing, but this one has so much emotion, so much sincerity. Despite the difficult situation, there was still a sense of hope, and love, and above all, family. Mara and Seth are absolutely perfect for each other, because of their strong connection, and their unwavering support of each other. Even through everything, they were there for each other, and the whole group was there for them. Even though I shed tears throughout the entire book, even though I had to stop several times to get myself under control, it still left me with a massive smile on my face. IMHO, this book has to be the top, absolute, must read book of the year!
