Down and Dirty (Hot Jocks #5) by Kendall Ryan

Blurb:

Remember that time you accidentally woke up in Vegas married to your hot younger guy friend?

That’s basically my life right now.

Mistakes were made, okay?

He’s too young for me. Twenty-three to my thirty. And he’s saving himself for the right girl.

Yup. Apparently I’ve married the last alpha-male virgin on the planet. And my stubborn, oddly traditional, new husband doesn’t want a divorce.

He wants me.

Complicated doesn’t even begin to cover it.

My Review:

Down and Dirty (Hot Jocks, #5)Down and Dirty by Kendall Ryan

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is an unexpected gem! I have to admit, before I began, I just knew it was gonna be a dud. I mean, a quicky drunk wedding in Vegas? Done to death! But, then, I remembered who the author was. She doesn’t do duds! So I dove in, and I’m so glad I did! This story is a sweet story, that really goes to show, love comes from the unexpected!

Landon is the team rookie. Low man on the totem pole. The first one to get picked on. But he knows this, accepts it, and even tries to look at it as a sign of acceptance. He’s finding his place on the team. But a trip to Vegas with his teammates, turns into a surprise marriage to one of his friends. And he doesn’t want it to end, wants to try to make it work. Now he just has to convince her to give them a try!

Aubree is an independent woman. She has made her life one that works for her, and she is enjoying every bit of it. But life still has a few surprises in store for her, surprises that are going to throw her orderly world into a tail spin! She has some big decisions to make, and there are some big changes coming her way.

This book was fun in the best sense of the word. Landon and Aubree seem to be so at odds. They are very different, not to mention the age difference. But even so, their story puts it all out there! Sometimes, life’s little (or big!) surprises will take you where you never thought you’d go, even if it really is where you are supposed to be!
