Wild (Wolf Ranch #2) by Renee Rose & Vanessa Vale

Blurb:

Pack Rule #2: Always protect your mate

I protected my country. Protected my platoon.
Now all I wanted to protect was her.
Too bad that wasn’t an option.
I couldn’t fall for the beautiful slip of a female.
The baby sister of my brother’s new mate.
She was way too young. Way too human.
Still in college. And too bright a force of nature.
She had her whole life ahead of her.
And I had the Green Berets begging me to reenlist.
My wolf… he wanted her.
But if I let her go without claiming her,
I might not survive the moon madness.

My Review:

Wild (Wolf Ranch #2)Wild by Renee Rose

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

If I thought Rough (book 1 of this series) was hot, Wild totally blows it out of the water! This book starts out scorching, and just gets hotter! These two authors have found a way to combine everything I love in a romance, and made it even better!

Colton has dedicated his life to being a soldier, protecting his country and his fellow soldiers with the enhanced abilities that come with being a shifter. Now, those same abilities are making it hard for him to reliably do what he’s always done. Things are changing, and he has some big decisions to make. A trip home for his brother’s wedding seems like a good time to think about everything. Until a crazy down pour throws a monkey wrench into his plans!

Marina and Colton had an amazing connection, right from the beginning. But lack of communication almost destroyed them before they really got started. While Colton had good intentions, he almost made some really detrimental mistakes. And Marina wasn’t honest with herself. Had she been honest with herself, she might have avoided a lot of heartache! Overall, this was a steamy read, and I can’t wait until the next book comes out!
