Any Day Now (SWAT Generation 2.0 #8) by Lani Lynn Vale

Amelia loves her good friend, Avery. So much so that she agrees to do the stupidest thing ever.

A stranger photo shoot.

You know the type. The photographer takes photos of two individuals. Two individuals that, until that day, have never met in their life.

The moment she shows up at the photo shoot, she knows that she made a terrible decision.

Why? Because the total stranger about to be in an intimate photo shoot with her is the hottest thing that’s ever walked the streets of Kilgore, Texas. If not the entire US of A.

Adam wasn’t sure why the hell he agreed to something so stupid.

Call it temporary lapse of sanity.

When the photographer who shot his photo for the Kilgore Police Department’s benefit calendar asked him for a favor, he couldn’t say no. Not without looking like a jerk seeing as it was benefiting the Fallen Officer Foundation that he played a rather large part in.

Whatever it was that made him agree, he quickly realizes that it’s not worth it. Not when he walks into the studio and sees the massive bed with blood-red sheets dominating the middle of the room.

So uncomfortable he is at the sight, he’s about to head straight out the door and not look back when she walks in.
Amelia steals his breath away with just one glance, and all of a sudden, getting this stranger into his arms with his mouth on hers sounds like the best idea ever.

My Review:

Any Day Now (SWAT Generation 2.0, #8)Any Day Now by Lani Lynn Vale

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

There is an immediate, scorching connection between Adam and Amelia, one that can’t be denied! And I do love an insta-love connection! It’s a beautiful thing! Add in the fact that these two are the kids of some of my favorite previous characters (who am I kidding?!? I’ve loved all of the characters from this author’s books!) and this book has all of the makings of a story that will quickly become a favorite of mine!

Amelia is such a hoot! I love her spunk, and her determination to do it on her own (whatever it might be!) I love the fact that she will do whatever she has to do to get out from under the protectiveness of her family (and to annoy them as much as possible!) She has such an amazing personality and is absolutely perfect for Adam! I loved their story, their connection, and most of all, I loved how there was really no questions between them, about that connection.

This story was fun, exciting, and just dramatic enough! I enjoyed everything, from their crazy first meeting, to the unpredictable events that just seemed to swirl around them. I couldn’t get enough of Adam, Amelia, and their crazy crew! This is one of my favorite books of the new generation!
