Rumor Going ‘Round (Lyrics and Love #3) by Samantha Lind

When rumors start circling,
Do you walk the other way?
Or give them something to talk about?

She was the one I always secretly wanted
But it was never meant to be,
I landed myself in the friend zone.

He was my high-school crush,
Who grew up into the single sexy dad,
Putting his life on the line with every fire he fought.

One spin around the dance floor has our friends talking,
Wondering if we could get any closer.

We blew the rumors off until one day, we really gave them something to talk about.

My Review:

Rumor Going 'Round (Lyrics and Love, #3)Rumor Going ‘Round by Samantha Lind
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have to say, I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve read by this author, and this book is definitely not an exception to that! This book is a fast paced, slow burn romance (total oxymoron, right?!?) But still, a childhood friendship becomes more as adults. Definitely not what I was expecting, but everything I love about romance!

Tucker is happy with his life. He has a job as a firefighter that he absolutely loves. And he is a single dad, to the cutest little girl ever! But even his surprise fatherhood led to a co-parenting relationship that is perfect for his child. But now, feelings that he’s put on the back burner, for a friend from childhood, have come to the forefront and can’t be denied any longer!

Lindsay has had her eye on Tucker for a while. She knows she could have big feelings for him, but doesn’t think it can go anywhere. Small towns, everyone knows everything about everybody, and all that. But when Tucker makes his mind up to go for it, well, slow goes out the door!

This book was fun, sweet, and very swoony! Definitely one that will make you want more! I couldn’t get enough of these characters, and their steamy connection. It’s definitely one that will make it to my re-read list!
