Back in the Saddle (Bachelor Auction #2) by Vanessa Vale

I’ve always wanted her. After all these years, that’s never changed.

I thought Sarah O’Banyon had been The One. I’d been f-ing wrong.
I moved on, made something of myself. Became police chief. Even had a beautiful daughter.

When Sarah buys me at the bachelor auction, I’m stunned. It’s been six years. She wants me for something now. When we end up in my bedroom, I know exactly what. Except I get cuffed to my headboard by the sexy mechanic—and left. Getting free isn’t the only thing that’s hard.

Turns out she’s learned something about my past. A secret which makes her angry. I’m okay with that. It means she still feels something for me. I’ll change her hate to love.

We’re going to pick up the pieces of our first love… and our broken hearts because there is no other option. It’s Sarah O’Banyon for this cowboy. Always.

My Review:

Back in the Saddle (Bachelor Auction, #2)Back in the Saddle by Vanessa Vale
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book starts off with explosive heat, then takes a turn out into left field! I’ve gotta say, I did NOT see that coming! This is one of those books that you think you know what is coming next, but then you find out you are wrong! I totally enjoyed all of the twists and turns the author threw at us with this story!

Sarah and Huck have a complicated history. It’s dramatic, and twisted, and full of betrayal. Sarah still hasn’t gotten over it, but she thinks a little revenge just might help…..

Huck has worked hard to become the man he is. He has many regrets in his life, and letting Sarah go is the biggest one. Even if it was what was best for her at the time. But Sarah is back now, and he’s hoping he just might get a second chance to make her his….

This is one of the hottest second chance romances I’ve read in quite a while. It was fun, and emotional, and fiery. The chemistry between Sarah and Huck was incendiary, and their connection was beautiful. I loved this book so hard!
